Our Story
The Fox That Found Its Way
Founded in 2018, Fox ITC Ltd was born from a simple belief: Leicestershire businesses deserve IT support that puts people first, not technology.
Behind the Name
We're often asked: "Are you Leicester City fans? Is that where Fox ITC comes from?"
While our founder Ian is indeed a lifelong Foxes supporter, the truth behind our name is far more serendipitous.
Like many entrepreneurs, Ian spent countless hours in those early days agonising over the perfect company name and logo. But the answer was right in front of him – literally. While mapping out the Leicestershire region we planned to serve, something remarkable emerged: the geographical boundaries formed the distinctive outline of a fox's head.
It was a moment of clarity. The name wasn't just logical and local – it was meant to be.
From Military Precision to Modern Innovation
The story doesn't end there. Drawing on his military background in Communications and Weapons Engineering, Ian brought a unique perspective to our visual identity. His expertise with radar systems, satellite and wireless technology inspired our distinctive logo – seamlessly blending the fox with WiFi signals to create the eye-catching symbol you see today.
This fusion represents exactly who we are: combining trusted local knowledge with cutting-edge technical expertise.

Mark Hutchinson
Head of Tech & The Pack
Mark is an experienced Network Engineer, joining the Den in 2019. Now heading up our service team and making sure the pack are supporting our customers.

Steven Thornley
Pack Member
Having completed his apprenticeship in 2022 Steven joined the Den as a 1st Line Support Cub. Steven can now be found visiting our customers out in the field.
